Ailan Style
Eunice Hosea
This Islan Style design for Male/ Female has become traditional dress specifically for Cultural event.
It identifies the uniqueness of Torres Strait Island people. Knowledge passed on from our family. It defines and represent family’s totem clan and color. Only certain member of family has this talent and I take pride and joy to say I learnt this from my mother. I aim to ensure that my cultural knowledge is passed down to the next generation.
